Istelle Petra is an artist, performer and a producer. She arrived from St. Petersburg, Russia over a decade ago to study business and arts in an obscure private University in a small Iowan town, Fairfield. She moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to apply her acting and producing background to theatre, film and art. Since that time she had produced a number of critically acclaimed stage and street events. Istelle is a founder of Art Players Theatre Ensemble, the American-Russian Theatre Project and a newly built TheatRevolution in Hollywood. Istelle’s background is in theatre, stage production, philosophy, applied mathematics and business management. She studied at the Kishinev School of Arts, St. Petersburg State University, Maharishi International University and UCLA. Her production credits include: 2003 Ovation Award Nominated show Aga-Boom with veteran clowns of Cirque du Soleil, Chekhov’s Marriage Proposal, The Bear, Schwartz’ Everyday Miracle and numerous cultural and charitable events across the country. Her stage credits include The Ravenscroft, Blithe Spirit, Enemies, Three Sisters, The Marriage Proposal, etc.
